Defence Minister Rijiju flags border delineation issue in Arunachal Pradesh, rejects China incursion

Union Minister of State for Defence Rijiju said there is a problem with the border demarcation in Arunachal Pradesh and dismissed claims of a Chinese incursion.
New Delhi – Union Minister of State for Defence Rajnath Singh Rijiju told reporters that a delineation problem exists along the India-China border in Arunachal Pradesh. He said the existing maps do not reflect the ground reality and that the government is working to resolve the discrepancy through diplomatic channels.
Rijiju also rejected reports that Chinese forces had entered Indian territory, stating that there is no evidence of any such incursion. He emphasized that the Indian armed forces remain vigilant and that any breach would be promptly addressed.
The minister underscored the importance of a clear and mutually agreed border to maintain peace in the region, and assured that the Ministry of Defence is coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs to address the issue.
