Deepika Padukone’s public relations team issued a statement on Monday, calling all recent reports about her involvement in the sequel to Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy franchise “Brahmastra” untrue. The clarification came after several entertainment portals and social‑media posts suggested that the actress had signed on for a role in “Brahmastra 2”, slated for release in 2025.
