The Malayalam film 'Khalifa', starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, collected Rs 2.30 crore on its second day, marking a 57 percent decline from the opening day.
The Malayalam‑language drama 'Khalifa', headlined by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, recorded a net box‑office intake of Rs 2.30 crore on its second day of release.
According to data reported by The Times of India, the film’s earnings fell by 57 percent compared with its opening‑day collection.
The sharp drop suggests that audience footfall on day two was considerably lower than the initial surge, a pattern often observed when a film fails to sustain early interest.
Industry analysts typically monitor such trends to gauge a movie’s overall commercial trajectory, but no further financial projections have been released at this stage.
