A married woman in Darbhanga has died under suspicious circumstances, with her family alleging that a man, reportedly her suitor, pressured her for marriage and subsequently poisoned her.

A married woman, identified as Anjum Ara, has died during treatment in the Hayaghat area of Darbhanga, Bihar. Her family has lodged a serious complaint with the police, accusing a man, believed to be her suitor, of pressuring her for marriage.

The grieving family alleges that the accused resorted to poisoning the victim when she refused his advances. This alleged act led to her deteriorating health and eventual death while undergoing medical care.

Authorities have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. The police are investigating the allegations made by the family and have initiated proceedings based on their complaint.
