Andhra Pradesh has issued a cyclonic storm alert, raising concerns that the entire state of Telangana could experience heavy rainfall, according to a weather update for Hyderabad.
The Andhra Pradesh Meteorological Department has released a cyclonic storm alert, signalling the approach of a low‑pressure system that could bring intense rainfall to the region.
Weather experts warn that the storm’s trajectory may affect the entire state of Telangana, with Hyderabad likely to see heavy showers and possible flooding.
Officials in both states have urged residents to stay updated through local media and to prepare for sudden downpours.
The alert is part of routine monitoring, but the potential for widespread rainfall has prompted authorities to advise caution and readiness for water‑logging in urban areas.
