Demand for Resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar

Jalahalli, Oct. 3: CPI(M) leaders and activists staged a protest near Ambedkar Circle in Jalahalli town of Devadurga taluk, Raichur district, on Saturday, opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Speaking during the protest, CITU leader Giriyappa Poojari said that the names of no eligible voters should be deleted during the SIR process. He also demanded that the names of eligible voters who have been wrongly excluded from the electoral roll be restored immediately.
