Court Rejects Bail for Two Accused in JSSC CGL Paper Leak Case

A Jharkhand court on Tuesday rejected the bail applications of Ramkushin Kumar Singh and Ritesh Kumar Singh, who are accused in the JSSC CGL paper leak investigation. The decision follows the Central Investigation Department’s claim that a syndicate collected large sums from candidates and had the exam questions memorised in Bokaro. The court held that the evidence presented by the prosecution was sufficient to deny bail and that the accused could pose a risk of tampering with evidence or influencing witnesses. Both men were previously held in custody pending trial. The case remains under the jurisdiction of the Jharkhand High Court, which will review the matter in subsequent hearings.
