Bihar’s Cooperative Minister Ram Kripal Yadav contributed his entire one‑month salary to the state’s flood relief fund, handing over a cheque at the Lok Sevak Aawas in Patna.
Patna, Bihar – In a gesture aimed at supporting flood‑affected residents, Cooperative Minister Ram Kripal Yadav transferred the full amount of his one‑month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The donation was formalised at the Lok Sevak Aawas, where the minister presented a cheque to officials overseeing the relief operations.
The contribution underscores the state government’s ongoing efforts to mobilise resources for communities devastated by recent floods across Bihar. Alongside the minister’s personal donation, cooperative institutions have collectively contributed three crore rupees to the same fund, further bolstering relief measures.
State authorities have been distributing essential supplies, including food, shelter kits and medical aid, to the displaced population. The additional funds are expected to accelerate these efforts, ensuring that rehabilitation and reconstruction activities can proceed without delay.
