Construction of Indore’s Palasia Elevated Bridge Begins After Court Dismisses Petition

The Madhya Pradesh Public Works Department has started building the elevated bridge in Indore’s Palasia area, following the High Court’s dismissal of a petition.
The High Court of Madhya Pradesh dismissed a petition that had been delaying the elevated bridge project in Indore, clearing the way for construction to start.
Work commenced in the Palasia locality, where the bridge is intended to ease traffic congestion and improve citywide connectivity.
The Public Works Department is executing the project, with an estimated cost of more than 400 crore rupees, funded by the state government.
Officials said construction will be phased to limit disruption to commuters, and the bridge is slated for completion within the planned timeline.
