Congress leaders have called for rapid completion of infrastructure projects in Calangute, Goa, to prevent further accidents.
Congress party representatives have appealed to state authorities to fast‑track pending infrastructure works in Calangute, Goa, after a series of accidents raised safety concerns.
The lawmakers highlighted that poor road conditions, inadequate lighting and insufficient pedestrian pathways are creating hazardous situations for both residents and tourists.
They urged the Goa government to allocate necessary funds and accelerate project timelines, warning that continued delays could lead to more mishaps.
As of now, the state administration has not issued an official response to the party's demands.
