Congress protesters demand resignation of Gwalior’s Chief Electoral Officer

On Wednesday, Congress activists in Gwalior staged a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Electoral Officer Gyanesh Kumar and a halt to the SIR process.
On Wednesday, a large group of Congress supporters gathered in Gwalior to call for the removal of Chief Electoral Officer Gyanesh Kumar. The demonstrators also demanded that the SIR (Special Investigation Report) process be suspended pending further review.
The protesters began their march from the district court, proceeded to the Collectorate, and finally reached the election office, chanting slogans and holding placards throughout the route.
The rally remained peaceful, with no reports of violence or arrests, as local police monitored the gathering and ensured that traffic flow was not severely disrupted.
