The Congress party staged a march to the Rajasthan legislative assembly, accusing the state government of suppressing children's concerns and demanding corrective action.

Earlier this week, Congress activists gathered in Jaipur and walked to the Rajasthan legislative assembly, carrying placards that highlighted the perceived neglect of children's issues by the state administration. The march, organized by the state unit of the party, aimed to draw attention to matters such as education, health and child welfare, which the participants said have been sidelined.

Party representatives told reporters that the government has been indifferent to the voices of young citizens, especially in the wake of recent policy decisions affecting schools and child health programmes. They urged the chief minister to engage directly with child welfare experts and to formulate policies that address the concerns raised during the protest.

The state government has not issued an official response to the march as of now. Police officials confirmed that the demonstration remained peaceful and that no arrests were made. The Congress has pledged to continue its campaign until the administration takes concrete steps to improve conditions for children in Rajasthan.
