Congress Dalit legislators condemn BRS MLC remarks on Telangana Speaker, demand KCR's apology

A group of Congress Dalit legislators publicly condemned statements made by members of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the Legislative Council that targeted the Speaker of the Telangana Assembly. The legislators said the remarks were disrespectful to the office of the Speaker and undermined the decorum of the state legislature.

The Congress lawmakers demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao intervene and issue a formal apology to the Speaker. They argued that an apology is essential to restore confidence in the legislative process and to uphold the dignity of elected officials.

The issue was highlighted in a statement released by the Dalit legislators, who urged the ruling party to address the matter promptly and prevent any further erosion of parliamentary standards in Telangana.
