Opposition parties Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal have criticised the Aam Aadmi Party after a video of a woman went viral, saying the party’s promises do not match the situation on the ground in Punjab.
A video featuring a woman has circulated widely on social media, prompting political debate in Punjab. The clip quickly became a focal point for criticism of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The Indian National Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) have publicly accused AAP of a "stark gap" between its stated claims and the lived reality in the state. Both parties argue that the content of the video underscores a disconnect between the government's promises and the everyday conditions faced by Punjab's residents.
The opposition’s statements highlight their broader narrative that AAP’s policies have not translated into tangible improvements on the ground. No further details about the video's origin or the woman's identity have been disclosed in official reports.
