On Hindi Day, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced a two‑day Hindi literature summit that will bring together writers from across the state.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary used the occasion of Hindi Day to wish the people of the state and to underline Hindi as a core element of Bihar's identity, culture and literary heritage. In his address, he revealed that the state will host a two‑day Hindi literature summit, scheduled to take place later this year. The event aims to provide a platform for established and emerging Hindi writers, poets and scholars to discuss contemporary literary trends and to promote the language among younger generations.

The summit is expected to feature panel discussions, readings, and workshops conducted by noted literary figures from Bihar and other Hindi‑speaking regions. Organisers have indicated that the gathering will also include sessions on preserving Bihar's rich literary traditions and encouraging new writing in Hindi.

By launching the summit on Hindi Day, the chief minister signalled the government's commitment to nurturing the language and its cultural expressions. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Hindi's role in education and public life across the state.
