CM Khandu Urges Rajdhani Express Service from Naharlagun

Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with officials from the Northeast Frontier Railway to discuss the introduction of a Rajdhani Express service from Naharlagun. The proposal aims to provide a faster, premium link between the state capital Itanagar and New Delhi. Currently, Naharlagun is served only by passenger and express trains, which take longer to reach the national capital. Khandu said that a Rajdhani Express would boost tourism, trade and overall economic development in Arunachal Pradesh. The state government has forwarded the request to the Ministry of Railways, and a feasibility study is expected to be completed by the end of the fiscal year.
