Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met farmers in Amaravati to review the second phase of the state's land‑pooling scheme, seeking their feedback and addressing concerns.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Amaravati on Thursday to hold a dialogue with local farmers regarding the second phase of Andhra Pradesh's land‑pooling project. The meeting was convened to update stakeholders on the progress of the scheme, which aims to consolidate agricultural land for the development of the new capital region.

Farmers were briefed on the revised terms of land acquisition, compensation mechanisms, and the timeline for infrastructure rollout. Naidu emphasized that the government would ensure fair compensation and provide alternative livelihood options to mitigate any adverse impact on farming families.

The chief minister also invited suggestions from the farming community to fine‑tune the implementation plan. He reiterated the state's commitment to balancing urban development with agricultural sustainability, promising continued monitoring and support throughout the project's execution.

The gathering concluded with a pledge to hold regular consultations as the land‑pooling process moves forward, aiming to maintain transparency and address any emerging concerns promptly.
