CM Bhajan Lal Announces Ram Jal Seeta Water Project to Benefit 17 Districts

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed farmers in Retapgarh, announcing the Ram Jal Seeta-ERCPI initiative that will channel water to 17 districts and irrigate more than 400,000 hectares of farmland. The project is part of a broader effort to enhance water security in Rajasthan’s agricultural belt. In the same session, the CM launched 1,452 development works worth ₹924 crore, aimed at improving infrastructure across the state. The water scheme is expected to boost crop yields and reduce dependence on erratic monsoon rains.
