CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka called the assault on the party’s team in Bagru a pre‑meditated act and demanded an impartial probe, while also raising concerns over police involvement.

The Central Janata Party (CJP) team was attacked in Bagru, a town in Jaipur district of Rajasthan, prompting the party’s national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka to label the incident as a pre‑planned assault. Ranka said the assailants were seen alongside local figure Kailash Verma, suggesting coordination rather than a spontaneous clash.

Ranka criticised the local police, alleging that their response was inadequate and that they may have facilitated the violence. He urged the state authorities to launch an independent and transparent investigation to uncover any lapses or collusion.

The spokesperson also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to continue protests over the deteriorating condition of schools in the region, stating that the issue will remain on the agenda regardless of the recent attack.

CJP members and supporters gathered at the site to demand accountability, while local media reported heightened tension in the area following the incident.
