In Rampara‑Kanvarpura, a village near Jaipur, CJ Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka was assaulted by villagers protesting his school visit, leading to a police FIR against the accused.
Ashutosh Ranka, a spokesperson for the CJP, arrived in the Rampara‑Kanvarpura village of Jaipur district for a scheduled school visit. As his convoy approached the school, a group of local residents confronted the party workers, expressing strong opposition to the political rally.
The confrontation quickly escalated into a physical clash. Villagers resorted to stone‑throwing and pushing the officials, resulting in damage to Ranka’s vehicle, including broken glass on the windshield. No serious injuries were reported, but the incident caused a temporary disruption of the planned visit.
Local police intervened and restored order. Following the scuffle, authorities registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the individuals identified as the aggressors. The FIR cites assault, vandalism and public disturbance as charges.
Party officials later confirmed that Ranka would continue his outreach program in other parts of the district, while urging law‑enforcement agencies to take swift action against those responsible for the violence.
