Following a promise from the state’s chief minister, candidates who qualified for the TET‑1 exam withdrew their ongoing sit‑in protest.

The candidates who cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET‑1) had been staging a sit‑in to press for the resolution of pending issues related to their examination and appointment process.

After a meeting with the chief minister, the authorities received a firm assurance that the concerns raised by the qualifiers would be addressed promptly.

In response to the assurance, the qualifiers ended their sit‑in and returned to their regular activities, while the government thanked them for their cooperation.

Officials indicated that the matter will continue to be monitored to ensure that the promised actions are implemented.
