The Chhattisgarh government has launched a free bus service exclusively for female college students. The initiative aims to support their travel to educational institutions across the state.
The state government announced the rollout of a complimentary bus service aimed at female college students. This move is intended to alleviate transportation challenges faced by women pursuing higher education.
Officials said the service will operate on selected routes connecting various colleges and universities within Chhattisgarh. The fare will be fully waived for eligible female students.
By providing free transport, the administration hopes to encourage greater participation of women in college-level studies and reduce dropout rates linked to travel constraints.
