The state government of Chhattisgarh has announced a reshuffle of senior police officials, moving several officers to new postings.
The Chhattisgarh administration has issued an order to restructure its police department, transferring a number of senior officers to different jurisdictions. The reshuffle is part of a broader effort to enhance the efficiency of law‑enforcement agencies across the state.
Officials said the changes aim to address emerging security challenges and improve coordination among district units. While specific names and postings were not disclosed in the initial announcement, the move signals a strategic realignment of command responsibilities.
State authorities emphasized that the reshuffle will not disrupt ongoing operations and that the newly posted officers will continue to focus on maintaining public order and tackling crime. The government has urged the public to cooperate with the police during the transition period.
