Chhattisgarh CM vows to develop complete mineral value chain

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai told reporters that Chhattisgarh aims to move beyond being a raw‑material supplier and create a full mineral value chain within the state. The plan includes encouraging investment in beneficiation plants, metal fabrication units and downstream industries that can add higher value to locally mined ores. Sai emphasized that such integration will generate jobs, boost exports and reduce reliance on external processing facilities. The government is expected to roll out incentives, infrastructure upgrades and streamlined clearances to attract private players to the sector. If successful, the strategy could position Chhattisgarh as a leading hub for mineral-based manufacturing in central India.
