The Central Board of Nasha (CBN) organized an anti-drug awareness programme for school students in Jaora under Mission Yuva Raksha, aiming for a drug-free India.
CBN held an anti-drug awareness session for school‑going children in Jaora, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the national Mission Yuva Raksha for Nasha Mukt Bharat. The programme was designed to inform students about the health, legal and social risks associated with drug use.
During the event, educators and CBN officials delivered interactive talks and distributed informational leaflets that highlighted common substances, warning signs of abuse, and avenues for help. Participants were encouraged to share concerns and ask questions in a supportive environment.
The initiative reflects the government's broader effort to create a drug‑free generation by targeting youth early in their educational journey. CBN officials said similar sessions will be rolled out across other districts to reinforce the message of sobriety and safe choices.
Local school representatives welcomed the outreach, noting that such awareness drives complement existing curricula on health and well‑being. The programme underscores the collaborative role of educational institutions and anti‑drug agencies in safeguarding young minds.
