CBI Arrests IAS Officer Pankaj Aggarwal in IDFC Bank Fund Misappropriation Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended Pankaj Aggarwal, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, on Monday. Aggarwal was serving as the Principal Secretary in the Department of School Education and Agriculture. The arrest is linked to an alleged misappropriation of government funds. These funds were reportedly diverted from the accounts of the Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad (HSSPP) and the Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board (HSAMB). The accounts in question were maintained at the Sector 32, Chandigarh branch of IDFC First Bank.
