The Central Board of Film Certification has mandated a 30% reduction in intimate scenes across seven instances in the original Kannada version of 'Toxic', and has muted the line 'You want to f**k'.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued a directive to the makers of the Kannada film 'Toxic', ordering a 30% cut in intimate scenes in seven identified locations of the original version.
In addition to the scene reductions, the board has also muted the explicit dialogue "You want to f**k" to comply with the certification guidelines.
The decision comes as part of the CBFC's routine review of films for content that may be deemed unsuitable for certain audiences. The film will be re‑certified once the requested changes are implemented.
No further details on the film's release date or distribution have been released by the board or the production house.
