Actress Catherine Tresa will appear opposite Sundeep Kishan in the upcoming socio‑fantasy film ‘Karikaala’, directed by Ugandhar Muni.
Catherine Tresa has been confirmed to share screen space with Sundeep Kishan in ‘Karikaala’, a socio‑fantasy project helmed by director Ugandhar Muni. The casting announcement was released by the production house earlier this week, confirming the lead pair for the much‑anticipated film.
The movie is described as a socio‑fantasy, blending contemporary social themes with fantastical elements. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the genre suggests a narrative that will juxtapose real‑world issues with imaginative storytelling.
Both Tresa and Kishan bring considerable experience to the venture; Tresa is known for her work across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema, while Kishan has built a reputation in Telugu and Hindi films. Ugandhar Muni, whose previous work has explored unconventional narratives, aims to deliver a fresh visual experience. Production is slated to begin later this year, with a tentative release planned for 2025.
