Police arrested the college cashier and two other staff members after catching them accepting a Rs 35,000 bribe to issue a No‑Objection Certificate to a BAMS intern.

Jaipur district police disclosed that a cashier at the Ayurvedic College in Kishangarh Renwal was caught taking a cash bribe of Rs 35,000 to issue a No‑Objection Certificate (NOC) for a BAMS student’s internship. The incident came to light during a routine verification of the college’s admission and internship procedures.

According to the investigation report, the cashier demanded the amount from the student’s family and handed over the NOC after receiving the money. Further questioning led to the arrest of two additional college employees who were alleged to have facilitated the transaction.

Senior police officials said the arrests were part of a broader crackdown on corruption in educational institutions. The case has been registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code dealing with bribery and criminal conspiracy, and the accused are currently in police custody pending further inquiry.

The college administration has been asked to cooperate with the investigation and submit all relevant documents. No other incidents of similar nature have been reported from the institution so far.
