Car Skids on Mussoorie Road, Gets Stuck on Tree, Two Injured

A vehicle lost control on a slick stretch of Mussoorie’s main road, slid into a tree, and left two occupants injured.
A vehicle traveling on the main road of Mussoorie slipped on a wet patch and veered off the pavement, striking a tree and becoming lodged in its branches.
The incident occurred early this morning on the Mussoorie–Kashipur stretch, where rain‑slick conditions had made the road treacherous. The driver and a passenger sustained injuries after the car was trapped.
Emergency responders arrived within minutes, extricating the vehicle and transporting the injured to a nearby hospital. Both occupants were treated for minor injuries and released later that day.
Local traffic authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution on the road, especially during the monsoon season, and have announced a review of road safety measures in the area.
