The Canada Border Services Agency has expelled four men from Punjab on suspicion of involvement in extortion and organised criminal activities.

Canada's Border Services Agency announced the removal of four Punjabi nationals—Palvinder Singh, Jasmer Singh, Amitoj Bajwa and Sahibjot Singh—on grounds of alleged participation in extortion and organised crime. The agency said the individuals were identified through ongoing investigations into transnational criminal networks and were deemed a security risk.

The four men, all residents of Punjab, were detained at a Canadian airport and processed for deportation under the country's immigration laws. Officials did not disclose detailed evidence but indicated that the suspects were linked to criminal groups operating across borders.

The deportation underscores heightened cooperation between Canadian law‑enforcement and Indian authorities to curb organized crime that exploits migration channels. The men are expected to be returned to India, where further legal action may follow.

No arrests were made in Canada as the case proceeded through administrative channels, and the agency emphasized that the decision was taken to protect public safety and uphold the integrity of Canada's immigration system.
