Campaigning for the upcoming assembly elections in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry concluded on Sunday, as leaders intensified last‑ditch efforts to win voters in the final days.

Campaigning for the assembly elections in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry wrapped up on Sunday, marking the end of the official campaign period. Leaders from major parties in all three regions intensified their outreach, holding rallies and door‑to‑door visits to appeal to voters in the final stretch.

In Assam, the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party conducted large rallies in Guwahati and Silchar, urging voters to head to the polls on the scheduled dates. Similarly, in Kerala, the United Democratic Front and the Left Democratic Front held last‑minute meetings in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam to mobilise supporters.

Puducherry’s leaders also held final rallies in Pondicherry and Karaikal, with party heads addressing crowds on the importance of civic participation. The campaign period’s conclusion coincided with the announcement of polling dates, which are set for the coming weeks.

Election officials have confirmed that all necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth voting process, and the parties are now focusing on voter turnout and last‑minute persuasion strategies.
