Campaigning Concludes for Nagaon Lok Sabha By‑Poll in Assam

The formal campaigning period for the Nagaon Lok Sabha by‑poll in Assam has come to a close, as announced by the Election Commission. Candidates and party workers have completed their door‑to‑door outreach, rallies and public meetings, adhering to the schedule set for the by‑election.
With the campaign window now shut, the focus shifts to voter mobilisation and last‑minute persuasion ahead of the polling day, which is slated for later this month. Election officials have intensified voter awareness drives and deployed additional security personnel to ensure a peaceful environment.
The by‑poll was triggered after the Nagaon seat became vacant, prompting major national and regional parties to field contenders. As the election machinery gears up for the vote, observers will monitor turnout and any emerging issues that could influence the result in this key constituency of Assam.
