A residential structure in Tahirpur, North‑East Delhi, collapsed on Tuesday while workers were carrying out repairs. The collapse occurred on Gali No.2, in front of the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital.
Three residents were trapped under the debris. Rescue teams quickly extricated them and transported them to the nearby hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the building may have been structurally weakened, but authorities are yet to confirm the exact cause. The Delhi Municipal Corporation has ordered a safety audit of nearby structures.
