Budgam Man Charged for Fake Job Scam Targeting J&K Bank Employees

According to the chargesheet, the accused allegedly promised job opportunities to bank staff and collected money from them, but no positions were offered. The scam reportedly involved the collection of fees from applicants and the use of fraudulent documents. The Jammu & Kashmir Bank had earlier reported the incident to the authorities, prompting the Crime Branch to investigate. The case is now under the purview of the court, and the accused is expected to appear for trial. The Crime Branch has urged banks to remain vigilant against similar scams.
