A novel invention called the 'Bubble Barrier' is making waves in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This innovative technology aims to curb plastic pollution by preventing plastic waste from entering waterways and ultimately the ocean. The 'Bubble Barrier' works by creating a curtain of air bubbles beneath the water's surface. These bubbles push the plastic waste towards an aluminum trap, effectively capturing it before it can flow into the larger water system.
