The ruling BRS in Telangana has urged the Enforcement Directorate to investigate the business interests of Congress leader Revanth Reddy’s family. The move comes as part of escalating political rivalry between the two parties.
BRS leaders said they have submitted a representation to the Enforcement Directorate seeking a probe into alleged irregularities in businesses linked to Revanth Reddy’s family. They stated that the request is based on publicly available information and aims to ensure transparency in financial dealings.
Party spokespersons emphasized that no allegations have been proven yet and that the move is intended to uphold accountability. They urged the ED to examine the matter impartially.
Congress leaders have dismissed the BRS initiative as politically motivated, claiming it aims to divert attention from governance issues. The Enforcement Directorate has not issued any comment on receiving the representation.
