The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the TRE‑4.0 2026 notification, offering 32,388 teaching positions across the state. Applications will be accepted online starting September 1.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) issued the TRE‑4.0 2026 recruitment notification, announcing 32,388 vacancies for teachers in government schools across Bihar. The posts cover primary, upper‑primary and secondary levels and are intended to fill long‑standing shortages in the state’s education system.

Eligibility requires candidates to hold at least a bachelor's degree in education or the relevant subject, satisfy the age bracket (generally 21 to 35 years), and have cleared the BPSC Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The official notification also outlines reservation quotas and the distribution of posts among districts.

Applications will be processed through the BPSC’s online portal beginning September 1. Applicants must register, complete the personal and academic details, upload scanned documents and pay the prescribed fee. The deadline for submission has not been disclosed, and candidates are urged to read the full guidelines before applying.

The recruitment drive is part of the state government’s effort to improve teacher‑student ratios and raise the overall quality of education in Bihar, aligning with its universal education objectives.
