Delhi police have warned that several schools in the capital received bomb threats and have asked commuters to avoid using the metro until September 29 while investigations continue.

Delhi police said that bomb threats were received targeting several schools across the city, prompting a serious security alert. The threats were reported in the past few days and have led to a full‑scale investigation by law‑enforcement agencies.

As a precautionary measure, officials issued an advisory asking students, staff and the general public to refrain from travelling on the Delhi Metro until September 29, citing possible risks near school zones.

The schools named in the alerts have been placed on high alert, with additional security personnel deployed and classes either suspended or conducted under heightened vigilance. No explosive devices have been discovered so far.

Police are coordinating with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and intelligence agencies to trace the source of the threats. Parents have been informed and urged to keep their children safe.

The probe remains ongoing and authorities have pledged to provide further updates as more information becomes available.
