The Bharatiya Janata Party will organise a foot march in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, on November 2, featuring around 10,000 participants, as part of its ‘Save Democracy, Remove Chaos’ drive amid opposition claims over the election process.
New Delhi, Nov 1 — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced that a large‑scale foot march will be staged in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, on November 2. Party workers and supporters, estimated at about 10,000, are expected to walk through the town’s main thoroughfares under the banner “Save Democracy, Remove Chaos.”
The march comes as the opposition has intensified accusations that the recent electoral machinery – including electronic voting machines and the voter list – may be compromised. Critics argue that procedural lapses could undermine the credibility of upcoming polls, prompting the BJP to showcase its confidence in the democratic process.
BJP leaders have framed the event as a demonstration of public trust in the electoral system and a rebuttal to what they call baseless allegations. The party says the march will reinforce the integrity of the voting process and encourage citizens to participate peacefully in future elections.
Security arrangements have been coordinated with local authorities to ensure orderly conduct, and the party has urged participants to adhere to traffic rules and maintain civic decorum throughout the demonstration.
