The BJP has launched a sharp verbal attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, branding him a 'lousy con artist' in response to his recent comments suggesting PM Modi relies on foreign assistance.
A political tussle has erupted in New Delhi as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reacted strongly to remarks made by Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi. The opposition leader had recently made a pointed jibe, implying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance relies on 'foreign help'.
In a swift counter-attack, BJP spokespersons and leaders have dismissed these claims as baseless and disrespectful. They have characterized Rahul Gandhi's statement as a desperate attempt to distract from the opposition's own failures, labeling him a 'lousy con artist' in their official responses.
The exchange highlights the intensifying rhetoric between the ruling party and the opposition in the lead-up to upcoming electoral engagements. While the BJP emphasizes domestic achievements and self-reliance, the Congress continues to critique the central government's policies, leading to a cycle of sharp verbal exchanges on social media and in press conferences.
