The BJP has unveiled its new national leadership team, appointing former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje as Vice President and Satish Poonia as General Secretary.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a new national leadership team, with former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje taking the post of Vice President and Satish Poonia being appointed as General Secretary.
The announcement was made by BJP national vice‑president Nitin Vyas in a press release, marking a significant reshuffle aimed at consolidating the party’s influence across the country.
Raje, who served as chief minister of Rajasthan from 2003 to 2008, brings extensive experience in state governance, while Poonia, a veteran BJP leader from Rajasthan, has held various organisational roles over the past decade.
Analysts say the appointments signal the party’s intent to strengthen its foothold in Rajasthan, a key swing state in upcoming elections.
The new team will work closely with the central leadership to coordinate campaign strategies and organisational reforms.
