The Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Priti Nonia as its official spokesperson for West Bengal, strengthening its communication team ahead of upcoming state elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party announced today that Priti Nonia will serve as its spokesperson for the state of West Bengal. The appointment was made by the party's senior leadership as part of a reshuffle of its communication cadre.
Nonia has been active in the party's West Bengal unit, participating in grassroots campaigns and media interactions. Her experience within the state organization is expected to help convey the party's messages more effectively.
The role of a state spokesperson is crucial ahead of the next assembly elections, as the BJP seeks to expand its presence in a region traditionally dominated by rival parties. By naming Nonia, the party aims to project a clearer and more coordinated narrative on policy issues and electoral strategies.
Party officials indicated that the move reflects a broader effort to strengthen outreach and engage voters across the state, especially in urban and semi‑urban areas where media coverage is intense.
