BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey has inaugurated a campaign in Jharkhand aimed at safeguarding tribal students' rights while calling for action against illegal immigrants.
BJP legislator Nishikant Dubey announced the launch of a dedicated campaign to protect the educational rights of tribal students across Jharkhand. The initiative, unveiled at a gathering of community leaders and educators, seeks to address long‑standing gaps in access to schools, scholarships and reservation benefits for tribal youth.
Dubey emphasized that illegal immigration poses a strain on limited resources and urged authorities to enforce existing laws. He said the campaign will work alongside state officials to monitor enrollment patterns and ensure that benefits intended for tribal populations are not diluted.
The drive plans a series of outreach programmes in districts with high tribal concentrations, including awareness workshops, grievance redressal cells and coordination with local NGOs. While the campaign is political in origin, its stated focus remains on improving educational outcomes for the state's most vulnerable students.
No official response from the Jharkhand government has been recorded as of now, and the BJP has not disclosed a detailed timeline for the campaign's activities.
