During a Monday meeting of the Delhi Municipal Corporation, BJP councillors complained that officials were not taking their inputs seriously and were overlooking several issues.
During a session of the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) on Monday, elected representatives from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party raised objections over the conduct of municipal officials. The councillors voiced frustration that their interventions were being dismissed or given insufficient attention.
The BJP members alleged that the officials repeatedly failed to consider their suggestions on pending matters, leading to delays in addressing civic issues. They claimed that in several instances, their concerns were not even recorded, suggesting a systemic disregard for elected representatives' inputs.
MCD officials have not issued a formal response to the accusations as of now, and the matter is expected to be discussed further in upcoming council sessions.
