Bina Station to Add Third Track: 16 Trains Cancelled, 48 Routes Diverted During 2026 Works

From 14 August to 15 October 2026, Bina railway yard will undergo remodeling to add a third track, leading to the cancellation of 16 trains and diversion of 48 routes.
Bina railway yard in Madhya Pradesh will be closed for remodeling to add a third track, from 14 August to 15 October 2026. The work is part of West Central Railway’s plan to increase capacity on the Bhopal–Nagpur corridor.
As a result, 16 scheduled trains will be cancelled and 48 routes will be diverted. The cancellations include both passenger and freight services that normally pass through Bina.
Passengers are advised to check updated timetables and alternate routes before traveling. The railway has set up information desks at nearby stations to assist commuters.
The yard works are expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce congestion once completed. Officials say the third line will allow more trains to run through Bina without delays.
The project will be carried out under the supervision of the Bhopal railway division and is part of a larger network upgrade across the state.
