Artist Raihan Vadra claims Bikaner House management removed most of his artworks, including photos of Delhi youth protests, hours before the show's opening.

A controversy has emerged at the prestigious Bikaner House in New Delhi after artist Raihan Vadra alleged that the venue's management forced him to remove the majority of his artworks just hours before his exhibition was scheduled to open.

Vadra, who is the son of Priyanka Gandhi, stated that the removal occurred five hours before the 7 p.m. opening of his show titled 'No Idea Is Final'. He claimed that the specific artworks targeted were photographs depicting youth protests in Delhi.

According to Vadra, the management cited the content as 'objectionable' as the reason for the forced removal. The incident has sparked debate regarding artistic freedom and the protocols followed by high-profile cultural venues in the capital.

The exhibition was set to launch in the evening, but the sudden intervention by the venue authorities has cast a shadow over the event, with the artist publicly expressing his dissatisfaction over the decision.
