Bihar Youth Stages Own Kidnap

In a shocking incident, a youth in Nalanda, Bihar, staged his own kidnapping and extorted Rs 2.5 lakh from his family. The police solved the case within 48 hours, revealing that the youth had rented out his bank account to cyber thugs for a 6% commission. The youth, lured by the promise of easy money, had hatched a plan with the cyber thugs to fake his own kidnapping and demand a ransom from his family. The police were able to crack the case after receiving a complaint from the family and tracking the transactions made from the youth's bank account.
