Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced that 'Panchayat Development Day' will now be observed on the last Sunday of every month across all village councils in the state.

Bihar will now celebrate 'Panchayat Development Day' every month, with the initiative set to be observed on the last Sunday of each month. This decision was announced by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

The program was officially launched from Tetia Babbar block in Munger district. The new observance aims to foster development at the grassroots level within the state's village councils.

This monthly event is intended to be a regular feature across all gram panchayats, marking a significant step towards decentralized governance and development monitoring in Bihar.
