Bihar Student Arrested in NEET Scam

The investigation into alleged irregularities in NEET-UG and Re-NEET UG 2026 has led to the arrest of two MBBS students. Ujjwal Raj, a final-year MBBS student from Motihari in Bihar, is among those arrested. The Economic Offence Unit (EOU) is probing the matter and has put the entire network under its radar. The arrests have brought to light a Bihar connection to the NEET scam, which was initially thought to be limited to Rajasthan. The EOU is working to uncover the extent of the irregularities and identify all those involved.
